Your Ladki Bahin Yojana status is really three separate things: the status of your application, the status of your e-KYC, and whether money has been credited to your bank. We are an unofficial guide put together by private writers, and every one of these checks is done by you on the state's own portal, at your bank or at a government office, never on our site.
New applications and e-KYC are both closed for now, but checking your record is still possible and is the first step if anything looks wrong. The latest confirmed installment appears in the panel at the start of this page.
Ladki Bahin Yojana status check for your application
This is the check most people mean by ladki bahin yojana application status or form status. Searches such as majhi ladki bahin yojana status check, mazi ladki bahin yojana status check or ladki bahin yojana status check maharashtra all lead to the same steps. As reported for the portal, the steps are:
- Type ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in into your browser yourself.
- Sign in with the mobile number and password you used when registering, and fill the captcha.
- Open the section for applications made earlier, which some reports name Applications made earlier.
- Find your form and read the status shown against it.
Menu labels may have changed since these reports, so follow the words on your screen. The scheme also sends SMS updates on application progress to the registered mobile, so keep that number active. If you cannot sign in, ask at your Anganwadi or ward office rather than handing your details to a stranger.
Checking your e-KYC status
Every beneficiary must pass an Aadhaar OTP verification, called e-KYC, once a year. To see whether yours went through, open the portal's e-KYC screen and put in the beneficiary's Aadhaar number. If verification was finished, a message saying e-KYC already completed appears.
If it was not completed, the window cannot be used now, because it has closed. That is important: about 62 lakh women were removed only for missing e-KYC. Our e-KYC explainer covers what this means for you, and the process guide shows each screen.
Ladki bahin yojana payment status and money transfer status
Wondering how to check your ladki bahin yojana money status? There is no need to visit any special website to see whether money arrived. The installment is sent by DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) into whichever bank account carries your Aadhaar seeding, so your bank is the place to look.
- Look out for an SMS from your bank about a credit.
- See the balance or statement in the bank's app, or via net or mobile banking.
- Call the bank's customer care, or ask at the branch.
Never tap on unknown links that claim to show a ladki bahin yojana money transfer status. Payment dates are explained on our installment date page.
The beneficiary list (labharthi yadi)
Many women type majhi ladki bahin yojana list, the approved list or the ladki bahin yojana labharthi yadi. The portal has shown beneficiaries under an option named Selected applicants list. Some municipal corporation websites have also published lists for their areas, and offline copies can be seen at ward offices, Anganwadis and the Aaple Sarkar Seva Kendra near you.
Keep the limits in mind. The list changed a great deal during verification, when about 92 lakh names were removed. Seeing your name on an older ladki bahin yojana beneficiary list does not prove you are being paid today, and a list printed for one ward will not show women from another.
What the statuses usually mean
We have not been able to confirm an official list of every status word the portal shows, so we describe only what is reported.
| What you see | What it usually means |
|---|---|
| e-KYC already completed | Your Aadhaar verification for that round is done |
| Name on the Selected applicants list | Your application was accepted at that stage |
| Disapproved | Your application was rejected; district collectorates and ward offices ran special desks for such cases |
| Aadhaar not in eligible list (during e-KYC) | Your record was not among those allowed to continue |
For any other wording, ask your Anganwadi worker or call 181 for an explanation.
Approved but money not received
A common puzzle is a form shown as approved while no money comes. The usual causes are:
- e-KYC was not completed, so benefits are withheld.
- The bank account is not seeded with Aadhaar and NPCI for DBT.
- The record was removed later in verification, for example for income above Rs 2.5 lakh, a family member in a government job, or a family with over two women drawing the benefit.
- A wrong answer in the government job declaration of e-KYC.
Each of these is explained, with what to do, on our payment not received page.
Other routes, including the Nari Shakti Doot app
Many women first applied using the Nari Shakti Doot app; some reports still mentioned it as a way to see status. Its present role has not been confirmed officially, so treat the web portal as the main place to check. More detail is on our Nari Shakti Doot page. If you cannot use a phone or computer, ask your Anganwadi sevika or the ward office to look up your record. If you think a status is wrong, call 181 or take your original documents to the WCD office at the district.
Questions people ask
Can someone else check my Ladki Bahin Yojana status for me?
Yes, your Anganwadi sevika or the ward office can look up your record. Do not hand your password or any OTP to an unknown person or shop.
How do I check if Ladki Bahin money reached my account?
Look for your bank's credit SMS, or check the statement in your bank app or passbook. You can also call customer care or ask at the branch.
Where can I see the ladki bahin yojana list for my area?
The portal has shown a Selected applicants list, some municipal corporations publish lists, and local offices such as your Anganwadi can show it to you.
My name is on the list but I get no money. Why?
Lists can be older than the verification drive. Your e-KYC, bank seeding or a later removal may be the reason, so check each one and call 181 if unsure.
Should I pay someone to check my status?
There is no need. You can check on the official portal yourself or ask your bank about credits. Avoid anyone who asks for money or your OTP to tell you your status.
