Ladki bahin yojana online apply is not possible at the moment, because registration has ended and the state's WCD (Women and Child Development) department has confirmed that no fresh website or fresh application route has been launched. We are an independent information site, not part of the government, and the only place to sign in or check an application is the government portal at ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in.
Any message saying "new registration open" is fake, and some of these ask for OTPs or money. Below we explain how the online form and offline registration worked, so you can make sense of your old application, and what you can still do today.
Can I do ladki bahin yojana online apply now?
No. Registration is shut. The WCD department says that no new website or sign-up route exists, and viral "registration reopened" links are fake. There is no new form, no new link and no special window for women who missed out.
If you never applied, there is nothing to fill in at this point. If you did apply earlier, you do not need to apply again. Your old application, your e-KYC and your bank account are what matter. The update box above will carry any change we can confirm, including a reopening if one is ever officially announced.
The official website and what the login is used for
The ladki bahin yojana official website is ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in. Note the spelling "ladakibahin". Addresses people guess, such as www.ladki bahin yojana.gov.in or www.ladki bahini yojana.gov.in, are not the portal, and look-alike sites may be run by fraudsters.
The majhi ladki bahin yojana login is now useful only for women who registered earlier. After signing in with your mobile number, password and captcha, you can open your earlier applications to see their status. The portal also has a list of selected applicants and an e-KYC page where entering your Aadhaar shows whether e-KYC is already complete. Menu names can change, so follow the labels you see on screen. Our status check page walks through this.
How the online form worked
When registration was open, the online form on the portal followed these broad steps:
- Register with your mobile number and set a password.
- Verify your Aadhaar.
- Upload the required documents.
- Submit. An application ID was then sent by SMS.
The mobile number and password you registered with are still your key to checking status. If you have lost the mobile number, go to the anganwadi or ward office for help instead of trying a new registration. The papers that were asked for are explained on our documents page.
Offline registration through anganwadi and centres
Many women did not use the internet at all. The paper form could be submitted through:
- Anganwadi sevikas or supervisors;
- Setu Suvidha Kendras and Aaple Sarkar Seva Kendras;
- ward offices, and gram sevaks in villages;
- community resource persons (CRPs), ASHA workers and city mission managers.
The same people can still help you read your status or understand a rejection, even though they cannot take new forms.
The Nari Shakti Doot app
Besides the website, the Nari Shakti Doot mobile app was used by many women to apply when the scheme started. Secondary sites now report that new applications through it are closed as well, although some recent news stories still referred to it for checking status. Its exact role today has not been confirmed by an official source. See our Nari Shakti Doot app page for details.
Ladki bahin yojana new update: fake links and viral claims
Searches for ladki bahin yojana new update today or latest news bring up many videos and forwards. Two kinds of false claims keep coming back:
- "New registration open" or "e-KYC restarted": the WCD department has called these false. Such links may ask for an OTP or a fee.
- "Rs 2,100 per month from now": the government said no such GR was issued. The benefit is still Rs 1,500.
Never type your Aadhaar number or an OTP into a site you reached from a forwarded link. Real news on the scheme comes from the department and is reported by mainstream newspapers. Confirmed changes appear in the update box at the head of our pages.
What you can still do today
- Check your status on the official portal with your old login, or ask at the anganwadi.
- Check your bank account: it should be in your own name and linked with Aadhaar, because DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer, the route by which the state pays you) depends on that link.
- Keep your e-KYC papers ready. e-KYC must be repeated every year, so make sure the phone number on your Aadhaar still works.
- Raise a complaint if your payment stopped: dial 181 first, and if the problem remains, go to your anganwadi, the tehsil office or the district WCD officer. See our helpline page.
- Keep an eye on the update box on top of every page here for installment news.
Ladki Bahin form questions people still ask
People still search for a ladki bahin yojana form PDF, an online form link or how to fill the form ("form kasa bharaycha"). If you search for a mazi ladki bahin yojana online form or the ladki bahin yojana online apply महाराष्ट्र link you will find the same answer as above. Since registration is closed, any site offering a downloadable form or an online form link for new applicants should be treated with suspicion. The Lek Ladki Yojana, a separate Maharashtra scheme for girl children, is also often confused with this one; it has its own rules, described on our Lek Ladki Yojana page.
